The transaction, the cost of which is estimated at 5 billion rubles, will allow the buyer to double the scale of Podruzhka’s business with a turnover of 15 billion rubles by conducting an aggressive expansion into the regions.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia (FAS) has received an application from Alkor & Co LLC for consent to the acquisition of 100% stake of Taber Trade LLC (Podruzhka’s holding company). This information appeared on the FAS website on Tuesday, October 26. Alcor & Co is the operating company of the L’Etoile perfumery and cosmetics chain, founded by Maxim Klimov. According to its own data, at the moment it includes about 900 stores in more than 200 cities of Russia. The assortment includes over 10 thousand products, including luxury brands like Dior, Guerlain, Givenchy, Kenzo, etc.

Taber Trade operates a network of Podruzhka stores, where cosmetics, perfumes, hygiene products, related products, etc. are presented. According to HeadHunter, the network includes more than 250 stores in Moscow, Moscow Region, St. Petersburg and other cities.
